Product Description
This product is manufactured from high-quality bauxite, calcium aluminate powder, and industrial hydrochloric acid through a refined reaction process. Plate-filtered PAC is produced by filtering liquid PAC through plate filters, followed by drum drying.
The multi-plate filtration process significantly reduces insoluble matter, resulting in a light yellow, transparent 10% aqueous solution that ensures smooth pipeline operation and improved efficiency.
It exhibits low corrosiveness to water treatment equipment, allowing simplified system design, reduced footprint, and lower capital investment while achieving rapid and efficient water purification.
The product demonstrates broad adaptability in both industrial and municipal wastewater treatment and is favored for its easy operation and storage.
Chemical material preparation method (dissolution method)
-
Dissolve the solid product with water at a 1:3 ratio
-
Further dilute with 10–30 times clean water to the required concentration
-
Example:
-
For a 1-ton solution tank
-
Add one-third water and start agitation
-
Add 100 kg of solid PAC
-
After full dissolution, add water to 1 ton and mix evenly
-
Usage method
-
Pre-dilution: Prepare a 5%–10% solution
-
pH control: Effective range 5–9, optimal 6–8
-
Dosing: Adjust dosage based on water quality (jar test recommended)
-
Rapid mixing: 10–30 seconds, not exceeding 2 minutes
-
Sedimentation: 30–60 minutes
-
Can be used together with PAM to accelerate settling
Precautions
-
The solution is mildly corrosive; corrosion-resistant equipment is recommended
-
Avoid mixing different grades or products from different manufacturers
-
Use clean water at room temperature for dissolution
-
Shelf life is 12 months; moisture absorption does not affect usability
-
Slow settling or turbidity may indicate improper dosage or product quality issues
Packaging and Storage
-
25 kg bags
-
Inner plastic liner with outer woven bag
-
Protect from rain and moisture during transportation
-
Store in a dry, ventilated, and cool place
-
Do not store with flammable, corrosive, or toxic materials
Q: What are the main advantages compared with conventional PAC?
A:Compared with conventional drum-dried PAC, plate-filtered PAC features much lower insoluble content and more stable aluminum species. With 28% Al₂O₃ content, it reduces dosage by over 30% and decreases sludge volume by approximately 40%, helping to lower operating and disposal costs.
